New Puppy Checklist

Everything to have ready before your puppy walks through the door.

Pet name:

Date:

Collar with ID tag and your phone number
Leash, plus a spare
Appropriately sized crate with bedding
Food and water bowls
Puppy formula food (ask what the breeder or rescue was feeding)
Training treats, small and soft
Safe chew toys in a few textures
Baby gates or an exercise pen
Enzymatic cleaner for accidents
Puppy-proofing pass: cords, trash, plants, medications out of reach
First vet visit booked within the first week
Microchip registered with your current contact details
Socialization plan for the 8-to-16 week window
A quiet safe zone set up away from household traffic
