What to pack and confirm before you drop your dog off for boarding.

Vaccination records printed or emailed to the facility
Food portioned per meal, labeled with feeding instructions
Medications in original packaging with written dosing schedule
Your contact details and a local backup contact
Your vet's name and phone number
A familiar-smelling comfort item, like a worn t-shirt
Behavior notes: fears, triggers, and how your dog takes to other dogs
Drop-off and pickup times confirmed in writing
Emergency care authorization discussed and documented
